WHY JOIN US?

On a local level, at Baruch College,
 

  • Develop the soft skills and get the inside scoop necessary to succeed in the business world.

  • Explore the workshops for leadership, networking, resumes, interviews, Excel

  • Participate in community service and social events.

  • Join a committee and get involved.

  • Have fun at our monthly internal Ascend Members Meeting for all current members and also at our New Member social events for all newly registered members.

  • A chance to Ascend.

On a regional level, meaning New York Metro,
 

  • Open to all Ascend students and Ascend professionals in the New York Metro Area.

  • Network with a range of professionals with different years of experience, as well as with students from all the different chapters.

  • Attend social events such as picnics and sports days.

  • Participate in Monthly meeting with other student chapters (invite only-officers and committee members).

 

On a national level, meaning Ascend,
 

  • Even more speakers series, panels, and networking that are open to students and professionals!

  • Attend National Convention where all the events throughout the year are summed into three days' time.

  • FREE career fair for all Ascend student members during the National Convention.
